Instructor Karen Shackleford of Cape Sands Ballroom will offer beginner foxtrot at Dennis Council on Aging & Senior Center, 1045 Route 134, South Dennis, MA 02660. This four-class cumulative semester will be held from 3:30 to 5:00 pm on Wednesdays starting January 8. Group foxtrot class will run from 3:30 to 4:15 pm followed by a 45 minute waltz, rumba, foxtrot practice session and optional potluck. The semester will wrap up with a dance social on January 29. Cost of the program is $80 per couple which includes all three classes and the dance social. Sorry no drop-ins, course is cumulative. Dance is known to have many physical benefits including increasing strength, agility, coordination, and flexibility. But there are other benefits too.
